NGV Specialist, Adnoc Distribution / Hyder Consulting Middle East Ltd, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Key member of the Project Management Consultancy Team appointed by Adnoc Distribution, the state-owned Oil Company, to manage the prestigious development of the 1 Billion Dirham (US$ 350M) Natural Gas utility business in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The specialist team identified and are managing ~ 40 fully integrated and interdependent contract packages for Technical Consultancy, Engineering, Procurement and Construction, Inspection, HSE, Operations & Maintenance and other related services ranging in value from US$50k to US$150m.

-Planning and specification of 16 NGV Filling Stations in the UAE

-Planning 9 NGV Car Conversion Workshops.

-Planning 6 supply HP pipelines with Hot Taps.

-Development of an airport NGV project for Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

-Design of a marine application project for water taxies and coast ferry services.

Duties Include:

· Joint development of Front End Engineering Design, Engineering, procurement and Construction Scopes of Works & Services;

· Prequalification Assessment of Contract Bidders;

· Preparation of Tender Invitations for various types of acquisitions relating to the project including FEED, Consultancy and EPC works;

· Participated in the preparation of Vendor and Sub-Contractor pre-qualification;

· Management of the technical and un-priced commercial tender evaluations, recommendations for award and preparation of contract documents for approval and award;

· Introduction and Technical Authoring of new Company Policies and Procedures;

· Technical evaluation of Tender submissions;

· Close Liaison with Governmental and Regulating Bodies;

· Managing Compliance of all Company & HSE Policies;

· Maintaining Project Execution in a Safe and Environmental Manner;

· Cost effective Planning, Scheduling and Application of Contractors;

· Close Liaison with other discipline colleagues, to ensure complete and timely hand-over of Project Deliverables;

· Continual review of EPC Scope of Works Package, keeping up to date with all developments;

· Review of all Project Execution Manuals;

· Compile, Pre-qualify and Manage the Project approved Vendors list, Work closely with Project Engineers;

· Use of the Project Document Management System;

· Representation of PMC and Client Management at meetings of all levels.
